Tomorrow is a big day in Windsor. There will be events and entertainments all afternoon, culminating in the switch on of the town’s Christmas lights and castle Illuminations at 5.30pm.
As to who will be invited to turn on the lights? The betting is on Basil Brush or Kevin Cruise, but who knows. Maybe there will be a surprise replacement this year. There again, Windsor is all about tradition, and it does seem that Basil has cornered the market in Windsor light lighting.
